Cheap and cheerful, audio leaves a little to be desired as does the quality of picture. This is really a toy but if you just want to have fun with some mates then this is the camcorder for you. My 9 year old daughter loves it and is making films all the time. Compact flash card required to enable any sort of real usage possible. If your looking for a cheap camcorder I would not recommend this product, better to splash out a few extra quid for a real one.

i have recently bought a nisis pocket digital camera from here and it being my second digital camera, i was very impressed with it. i like making mini skate videos and this mini camera is perfect for this, i highly recommend buying for a first time user or any time user, plus with cool accessories it makes video-ing very fun

Money for your value

I bought the camera not expecting great things.
I must admit, I got more than what I expected.
Although limited in picture options, the camera option is actually better and clearer than expected and pretty fair in bad light. The device does not have its own flash or light source, which can be limiting, but not a killer.
The camera itself, well if its for the spur of the moment moments that dont need high quality, then this is the video camera for you. If you plan on making some home vids, I would suggest 128 MB at least, giving you about 30 minutes video time, and I have no idea how many pictures, but I am sure its a lot.I would recommend also getting rechargeable batteries, since normal batteries will leave you high and dry before you even get started, and with 2 AA's a time 4 rechargeables lasts me a good long time. Size and robustness, well in terms of size, its about the size of the average desktop mouse and weighs in about the same.
Although it doesn't feel very strong, I have travelled a bit with it and as yet, not on problem. One note: if you take pictures or anything on the internal memory, it is lost when you change batteries, so although one of the few things not good, this can be averted by using compact Flash which has its own power source, and so you wont lose those precious pics with that battery change. Honestly for the money you spend on this and what you get out, this is what a budget camera should be all about.
