I HAVE NOW HAD MY OLYMPUS 400 MJU FOR TWO MONTHS NOW AND IT IS FANTASTIC. VERY SHARP PICTURES AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE NIGHT SHOT FACILITY IS GREAT. A FRIEND AT WORK WAS SO IMPRESSED HE WANTED TO TAKE IT HOME FOR THE WEEKEND!! NO WAY I SAID GET ONE FROM AMAZON- AT THIS FANTASTIC PRICE YOU CANT GO WRONG. IF THERE IS ONE CRITISISM I COULD MAKE IT IS THE TINY OPERATING BUTTONS, FINE FOR ME, BUT FOR SOMEONE WITH LARGE HANDS IT COULD BE A BIT TRICKY AND ALSO I AGREE WITH A PREVIOUS REVIEWER THAT YOU CAN EASILY CATCH THE BATTERY FLAP BUTTON, BUT SO FAR HAVENT OPENED IT.I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING WITH A ZOOM TO REPLACE MY FIRST CAMERA A FUJI A202 WHICH I LOVE AND I HAVE FOUND A GREAT REPLACEMENT. BONUS IS THEY BOTH USE THE SAME MEMORY CARDS!!

We have received our camera in the last two weeks, and are over whelmed with it. Small enough to put in your pocket and weather proof. Zoom is outstanding, and easy to take pictures. We bought our camera for use in sending pictures via internet, again this camera offers great facilities, it has settings which help make photography very easy and both loading and sending of these pictures coulndn't be easier. Mini movies can be taken with this camera although without sound, and one good feature is you can connect it to your TV, so people without computers can still view your pictures/movies on a large screen. After hours of window/internet browsing we believe we made a great choice with this "wicked little camera", and Amazon!

This is my first digital camera, and I am more than pleased with it so far. It's small, light and well-designed. After loads of research into the hundreds of other cameras in its price range, I went for this one beacuse of: more pixels per pound than its competitors, and it's weatherproofed. A guy in a local camera shop said that lots of other makes don't like it when it's too wet or humid and will shut down. I'm holidaying in S. America this autumn and live in the north, so this seemed a good thing!
Images printed out on my less than flashy printer were totally stunning compared to my nikon compact 35mm.
Highly recommeded.
