1) SELECT YOUR
DOMAINS WISELY
First you carefully and strategically
select a group or collection of quality domain names that are
related to or descriptive of the goods or services that you offer on
your principal or main website (remember, if the domain doesn't even
sound good to you, why would someone care to remember it, or visit
it?)

KeyComputers.com

2) FORWARD ALL YOUR
DOMAINS TO ONE WEBSITE
You do not need to develop or host a
website for each domain that you own - that obviously would be an
impossible task. A quality domain is like a "road-sign"
that points people towards your main website. Instead you use the
simple technology of Website Forwarding or URL Redirection.
What this means is that when a
visitor types in one of your domains, that they automatically get
your main website (without even noticing this - all this happens in
milliseconds) - example like the domains above that are forwarded
back to our website right now. This service is offered for free at
www.MyDomain.com - a great company to work with and a tremendous
support staff. You can even set up (for free) email accounts on each
domain that are automatically forwarded to your main email address.
3) NOW SUBMIT YOUR
DOMAINS TO THE SEARCH ENGINES
Today more and more search engines
"look" at the domain names itself, to see if it matches up
with the keywords that are listed in the site or in the metatags of
the site - they also "look" at the domain name, if it
matches the word or keyword that the prospect typed in the search
engine. This is how you can rank much higher with a well chosen
domain name.
Then, you can attach specific and
each time different metatags (i.e.. keywords) to each individual
domain. Normally, it is recommended to use no more than 25 keywords
per domain - because if you use more, a lot of the search engine
spiders will reject your site. This allows you to target a very
specific group of prospects with one particular domain, and another
group with the next domain, etc. There is all sorts of programs out
there that permit you do come up with good keywords - one we like is

4) RAISE YOUR LINK
POPULARITY DRAMATICALLY
Then, the final step, is to make a
page that is connected to your front page, on which you list all the
domains that you own, and you make sure that they are all linked
(which means people can click on them - like the domain above).
So, now the search engine spider
arrives on your main website, and moves on to that secondary page,
where all your domain names are listed, it follows each domain, and
brings it right back to your website. And that means "link
popularity" - it seems as though your website is listed on many
different websites. But because each domain being interlinked or
interconnected to each other, you get a double multiplication.
Therefore 5 domains connected strategically, have the effect of 5 x
5 = 25 different websites. Can you see why a company like Debeers
Diamonds would want to connect 1,600 domain names = 1,600 x 1,600 =
the equivalent of more than 2.5 million websites are pointing to
your website.
CONCLUSION
Only very few businesses - even very
few web designers or webmaster or IT people know about this - so it
is easy to get a laser sharp edge on your competition or the other
businesses in the world that are offering similar products or
services. And because it is a domino effect that is created, it is
very important to make sure that each step is done properly. But
when set up properly, this is probably one of the most powerful ways
to expand the global horizon of your website, and attract visitors
(and eventually clients) from places you would have never imagined
possible.

quality domains, some quality strategic work and years of results
